Read MoreWhat is Deep Dish Dungeon?
A first-person dungeon crawler crossed with survival and crafting. You explore corridors, rooms and passageways that connect in metroidvania-style loops, grabbing resources as you go and opening shortcuts that make each return trip faster.
Food Is Progress
Meals apply lasting stat changes, so cooking a better recipe is the game's core upgrade path rather than a side activity.
Craft & Rebuild
Turn forage into light sources, weapons, armour and utility tools at camp, and keep backups because broken gear ends runs.
Three-Player Co-op
Play solo or bring up to two friends online, split roles and share camp resources so the whole party survives the deep floors.
Shortcut Mapping
Hand-built floors loop back on themselves; opening a one-way shortcut turns a risky trek into a routine supply run.
Back at your campsite you craft new tools and cook meals, and those meals permanently change your stats, so a better recipe is a real upgrade. Enemies have distinct behaviours worth studying, and the world hides puzzles, doors and treasures that reward patient, curious play.

Recipe & Meal Tier List
Which meals are worth the ingredients. Cooking is the main progression axis, so the dishes below are ranked by how much they change a run rather than by how easy they are to cook.
Cooking Stations at Camp
Every station at your campsite exists to turn foraged ingredients into meals with lasting effects. Each one supports a different tier of recipe, so build them as your ingredient stock grows.
Enemy Threat Tiers
Deep Dish Dungeon favours studying enemies over trading hits. This table groups what you meet by threat level and the counter play that keeps a run alive.
Camp Facilities to Build
Your campsite is the safe hub between expeditions. Placing and upgrading the right facilities is what turns a short scramble into a long, well-supplied descent.
Deep Dish Dungeon FAQ
How does cooking progression actually work?+
Meals in Deep Dish Dungeon apply lasting changes to your stats rather than a short temporary buff. That means a better recipe is effectively an upgrade: cooking the right dish can raise your survivability or damage for the whole run. Because ingredients come from foraging, the loop is explore, gather, cook, then return stronger, and new recipes unlock as you play rather than all being available at once.
What causes most failed runs?+
Carelessness rather than combat skill. Running out of torch fuel in an unexplored corridor, carrying too much loot to outrun an enemy, or pushing one floor deeper than your supplies allow are the common endings. The fix is a routine: stock a meal plan, carry a backup light source, bank progress at camp often, and treat the walk home as part of the run instead of a formality.
How many players can join a co-op session?+
Online co-op supports up to three players in total, so you plus up to two friends. The party shares the same dungeon and the same camp, which makes role splitting worthwhile: one player can focus on cooking and crafting while others scout and fight. Because supplies are shared, agreeing on who carries what before you descend avoids the situation where everyone hoards and nobody has a torch.
Why is my inventory always full?+
Backpack space is deliberately tight and it is one of the most common player complaints, so plan around it. Decide before you leave camp which resources are worth hauling home and leave low-value loot behind. Prioritise crafting materials and ingredients that unlock recipes, and remember that banking a smaller haul is better than losing a full pack to a bad retreat.
Where do I find new recipes?+
Recipes unlock through play rather than being bought outright, and the stations at your camp gate which tiers you can cook. Forage every plant and fungus you pass, because ingredients feed every recipe, and keep improving your campsite so higher stations become available. If a recipe is not showing yet, the usual reason is that you have not found the ingredient or upgraded the station that supports it.
Are the dungeon shortcuts one-way?+
Many are. The layout loops back on itself in a metroidvania style, and opening a shortcut usually creates a faster route back to camp rather than a two-way door. That is why finding shortcuts matters more than clearing every room: once a route is open, a dangerous trek becomes a routine supply run, and the resources you bank each trip compound into deeper, better-equipped attempts.
